Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology formerly Sathyabama University, is a Christian higher education deemed to be university institute, situated at Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. It was founded in 1987 as Sathyabama Engineering College by Jeppiaar and received its deemed to be university status in 2001.
Candidates who want to take admission in Sathyabama univeristy under the courses of B.E. / B.TECH. / B.ARCH./ B.DES has to appear for this examination. The application form for entrance exam is available through online mode.
Note:The university is in Sholinganallur about 15 kilometers from Adyar in Chennai. It has a sprawling campus of 134 acres. The university is located on Rajiv Gandhi Salai (formerly known as Old Mahabalipuram Road and popularly known as IT Corridor)

Admission Procedure
- The admission to B.E., / B.Tech., / B.Arch. / B.Des. , programmes is done solely on the basis of the performance in the All India B.E/B.Tech./B.Arch. Entrance Examination 2020 conducted by Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology.
- The candidates will be shortlisted and called for Counselling, based on their performance in the entrance examination-2020. On the day of counselling the branch of study will be allotted depending on the availability of seat and provisional admission order will be issued on the same day after collecting a counselling fee of Rs.50,000/-. Refund of Tuition Fee is based on as per UGC Regulations.
ALLOTMENT OF BRANCH ONCE MADE DURING THE COUNSELLING IS FINAL AND CANNOT BE CHANGED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
