Admissions in B.Tech can be taken after completing Class XII. Different colleges have different percentage cutoff for being eligible for B.Tech admissions.

B.Tech Admissions process in 2020

B.Tech Admissions procedure are different for all colleges. Some colleges take their entrance exams while others give admissions on the basis of results of these entrance exams i.e. they do not conduct their personal exams but take the results conducted by other universities as their basis.

Fees Structure of B.Tech Colleges

Fees of B.Tech courses is generally on a higher side as compared to other courses as it is a technical course and requires an advanced infrastructure such as well-equipped laboratories, research centers and library. Four years of B.Tech courses  are divided into 8 semesters i.e. 2 semesters in each year. One semester is dedicated to industry internship in which a student has to do 6 months professional internship in a company related to his field. Colleges generally take fees semester-wise for all the 8 semesters.

In most private engineering colleges, there is a chance for getting direct B.Tech admission without an entrance test score.
