AP EAMCET 2020 Eligibility Criteria
The candidates willing to apply for the AP EAMCET 2020 need to fulfill the eligibility criteria for the same. APSCHE has set a number of factors to decide the AP EAMCET 2020 eligibility criteria. Nationality
Candidates are eligible only if they hold the nationality of India OR they hold cards of Person of India (PIO) / Overseas Citizens of India (OCI).
Domicile
An applicant should hold the domicile of Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana. Also, candidates should satisfy Local / Non Local status requirements laid down by
Age Limit
- For Engineering and Pharmacy courses – Candidates who have completed 16 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission are eligible to apply. No upper age limit is mandatory.
- For B.Tech. (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (Ag. Engineering), B.Tech. (FS & T) and B.Sc. (Agr. Engg) – Candidates should have completed 17 years of age on 31st December of the year of admission and an upper age limit of 22 years for all the candidates (25 years in the case of SC/ST).
Educational Qualification
- For Engineering, B.Tech. (Dairy), B.Tech. (Ag. Engineering), B.Tech. [Food Science and Technology (FS & T)], B.Sc. (Agriculture Engg) courses:
- All the candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination with PCM as options or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana, along with bridge course or courses conducted by it, or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana.
OR - Candidates should have passed or appeared at the final year of the Diploma examination in Engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training.
- All the candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination with PCM as options or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana, along with bridge course or courses conducted by it, or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana.
- For B.Tech. (Bio-Technology) Course:
- Candidates are marked eligible if they have passed or appeared for the final year of the intermediate examination (10+2 pattern) with PCB as options, along with the bridge course examination in mathematics conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh / Telangana.
AP EAMCET Application fee
The Application fee to be paid for various streams is described below:

Exam Pattern
An overview of the AP EAMCET 2020 exam pattern is given as:
- Mode of exam: Computer-based test
- Exam duration: 3 hours
- No. of questions: 160
- Language of paper: English and Telugu (The provision of translation of paper in Urdu will be provided for exam center at Kurnool only)
- Marking scheme: Each question will carry 1 mark and there will be no negative marking.

AP EAMCET 2020 Syllabus
The AP EAMCET Syllabus for 2020 session will be prescribed as per the syllabus introduced by BIE, AP for intermediate level exam. The question in the entrance exam will be asked to test candidate’s knowledge and intelligent understanding of the subject.
The Syllabus will contain various topics from the subjects of Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics.
AP EAMCET 2020 Preparation Tips

- Make a study schedule before starting the exam preparation.
- Understand the complete exam pattern, syllabus and marking scheme.
- At the time of preparation of the exam, make brief notes.
- Solve past papers or sample papers of the exam.

- One or two days before the exam, revise all the prepared notes.
Admit Card
The AP EAMCET admit card 2020 will be made available on the official website www.sche.ap.gov.in/eamcet. The candidates will be able to download the admit card by providing the details of registration number, date of birth, etc. Any discrepancy in the admit card must be communicated to the Convener for correction. The admit card along with the hard copy of the filled in application form and an attested copy of caste certificate (if applicable) should be carried to the exam center.
AP EAMCET 2020 Result
The result of the AP EAMCET 2020 will be declared in online mode and the candidates will be able to check their result by entering their registration number and hall ticket number. On the basis of marks obtained in the entrance test and in class 12th exam, ranking of the candidates will be done in the order of merit. The applicants will also be able to download their rank card by providing the details of registration number, hall ticket number and date of birth.
Counseling
As per the merit list, the candidates will be allowed to take part in the process of counseling. The list of participating institutes along with the courses offered by them will be uploaded on the official website.
