Jamia Millia Islamia Research Assistantship: Applications have been invited by Jamia Millia Islamia Research Assistantship/Post Doctoral Fellowship 2021 from MSc/Ph.D. degree holders. The positions will be filled on a temporary basis for which continuation will subject to progress as well as co-terminus with the PURSUE program. Those candidates who will be selected for the fellowship will get an amount of INR 55,000 per month (For a Post-doctoral fellowship) and for a research assistantship INR, 21,000 will be given. The last date to apply for the fellowship is 25 January 2021. Students are advised to apply as soon as possible as the last date is arriving very soon. Before filling up the forms students must check the eligibility criterion because those candidates won’t be selected who do not fulfill the eligibility criteria.

For Post Doctoral Fellowship Qualification

  • The candidate must be holding a PhD degree in Physics/ Chemistry/ Materials Science/ Nanotechnology
  • The candidate must have a publication in Wos/SCOPUS indexed journals

Desirable: The candidate must know how to handle equipment (such as XRD, Spectrophotometers, DLS, Contact angle, TGA/DSC, Raman)/industry experience will be preferable.

Research Assistant Eligibility

The candidate must have an MSc degree in Physics/Chemistry with at least 55 percent marks.

What are the benefits of the fellowship?

Those candidates who will be selected for the fellowship will get a stipend of Rs 55,000 per month which is the emolument for Post Doctoral Fellowship and those with Research Assistantship will get INR 21,000 per month.

  2. No objection certificate is required by those who are employed from his/her employer at the time of the interview.
  3. The right to cancel the recruitment without giving any reason has been reserved by the institute.
