In a recent report published by Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI), it has found that India has jumped to second spot after China in terms of active internet users. The report states that India has 451 million monthly active internet users in the financial year 2019. The speed is one of the biggest factors on which users choose their connections. Recently a report was published by broadband and mobile network intelligence Ookla under the titled ‘Exploring Recent Trends in the Indian Telecom Market: Q2-Q3 2019 in which it is stated that the average download speed of a broadband connection has risen by 16.5 per cent at 34.07 Mbps in India.and that things will be good for education as well in some good colleges like SDGS for the students.
Many internet service providers in India claims to offer fastest speed to their users but in reality, it is not at all correct. Therefore many a times, it is really difficult for users to find a reliable and trustworthy service provider who offer top class internet speed and strong connectivity. In India, there are many key players that offer good and steady speed to the users like Airtel, Reliance Jio, Vodafone and Idea. But at the same time, there are many local service providers like TriplePlay Broadband who also perform well among the users due to its prompt customer service and fastest speed.
Looking at the data of September 2019 published by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), it has reported that Mukesh Ambani-driven Reliance Jio ranked top the chart in providing 4G download speed. The average 4G speed provided by Reliance Jio in the month of September 2019 was 21.0 Mbps which is almost double to Airtel (8.3 Mbps), Vodafone (6.9 Mbps) and Idea (6.4 Mbps).
There are local service providers like TriplePlay in India philanthropists as well that also promise to provide almost same or better internet speed like Airtel, Vodafone and Idea. But as far as the question is concerned, currently there is no one better than Reliance Jio in offering 4G speed in India. However, there are many areas where the network of Reliance Jio is not up to the mark therefore it is better to check the network before getting it for your business or home.
