AMU 2021 Important Dates

B.Tech Course

The last date to submit the application form is the 3rd week of March 2021. The admit card will release in the 4th week of April 2021. The date of the exam is the 2nd week of May 2021. The answer key will release in the 3rd week of May 2021. The result will be declared in the 2nd week of June 2021. The counseling will start in the last week of June 2021. The examination will take place in April, May, and June 2021.

What Are The Courses Offered?

The courses offered are B.Com, BA, B.Sc, MBA/MBA(IB)/PG, (biotechnology), B.Arch, B.Ed, BA (Hons) Foreign language, BA (LLB), SSSC and Diploma in Eng, MFM/MTTM, Diploma courses through CET, MCA, MA (Mass Communication), MSW.

AMU 2021 application form can be filled in online mode from the website. Students will be required to fill a separate application form for each course of study. AMU 2021 Application Fee

The application fee for B.Com, B.Sc, BA (Hons) is Rs 400. For B.Tech/BA LLB and MBA/MBA (IB) is Rs 650 and for MBBS/BDS the application fee is Rs 500.

AMU 2021 Eligibility Criteria

For B.Com (Hons) Programme:


  • Passed 12th level(Commerce) or its equivalent exam from a recognized board or university.
  • Obtained a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying exam.
  •  Passed the qualifying exam with Accounts & English subjects along with any two subjects among – Business Studies, Economics, Commerce, Business Organization, Banking, Mathematics, Statistics or Entrepreneurship.

For B.Tech Programme:


  • Passed 12th level/diploma in engineering or equivalent exam from a recognized board or university.
  • Obtained a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying exam.
  • The applying candidate must have passed the qualifying exam with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English subjects (PCME).

For B.A (Hons):


  • Passed 12th level(Commerce) or its equivalent exam from a recognized board or university.
  • Passed 12th level with an aggregate of at least 50% marks.
  • Students must score aggregate marks in English and three subjects among – Accountancy, Arabic, Banking, Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Business Organization, Business Studies, Commerce, Computer Science, Home Science, Economics, Education, English, Fine Arts, Physical Health Education, Geography, Hindi, History, Islamic Studies, Mathematics, Philosophy, Physics, Political Science/Civics, Persian, Psychology, Sanskrit, Sociology, Statistics, Urdu and Modern Indian Languages.

For MBA (Financial Management):


  • Passed Bachelor Degree from a recognized board or university.
  • Passed Bachelor Degree with an aggregate of at least 50% marks.

For M.Com:


  • Passed B.Com (Hons) from a recognized board or university.
  • Passed the qualifying exam with an aggregate of at least 55% marks.

AMU 2021 Exam Pattern


The entrance exam will be held in offline mode on various dates for various courses.


The number of sections will vary for various courses. For B. Tech course, the exam will have 3 sections – Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry. For MBA, the paper will be divided into four sections – Data Interpretation & Numerical Ability, Environmental Awareness, Reasoning & Intelligence, and Comprehension & Verbal Ability.

There will be multiple choice type questions in the paper.


  • 150 questions for B.Tech and 100 for MBA will be there in the paper.
  • Paper of B.Tech will be of 150 marks and MBA will be of 100 marks.
  • Paper will be of 3 hours.
  • 1 mark will be provided for every correct answer. 0.25 marks will be deducted.

AMU 2021 Syllabus

For B.Tech – Questions in the AMUEEE 2021 will be from various topics of the Physics, Mathematics & Chemistry subjects studied in the 11th & 12th level.

For B. A (Hons) – The questions in the entrance test will be from – Indo-Islamic Culture and Aligarh Movement, English, Reasoning and Intelligence and General Awareness and Current Affairs.

For MBA – For MBA admission, the syllabus of the entrance test will contain topics from – Environmental awareness, quantitative & numerical ability, comprehension & verbal ability, Reasoning & intelligence, Data analysis & interpretation.

AMU 2021 Counseling

The counseling will be done after the declaration of results. The counseling schedule will be declared on the website. Qualified students will have to appear in counseling. They must carry their necessary documents/certificates with them for the document verification round.
