Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test 2021 is popularly known as GPAT. This test is conducted by National Testing Agency once every year. It offers admission into various M.Pharma or its equivalent courses across the country. This is a national level examination and it is held for approximately 24,000 seats in nearly 841 participating pharmacy institutions. Candidates who are preparing to sit in GPAT 2021 can check all the details of the examination in this article. GPAT 2021 eligibility criteria, application form, exam pattern and syllabus are given below.
Important Dates
The online submission of the application will be done in 1st week of November 2021 and the last date of submission of application forms will be in the last week of November 2020. The last date of successful transaction of fee will be done in the first week of December 2020. The choice of city will be done in the first week of November 2020 and first week of December 2021. The admit card will be released in the fourth week of December 2020. The examination will be held in the last week of January 2021 and the result will be declared in the first week of February 2021. GPAT 2021 Application form
The application forms will be available online and applicants will not be able to fill the application form in any other mode. Only one application will be submitted at one time. Candidates will have to upload the scanned image and signature in the application forms. Candidates are advised to fill the application forms correctly as they won’t be allowed to do any correction once it has been submitted. Candidates are advised to take out the print of the application forms for future reference.

Application Fee
Candidates will be able to fill the application fee online using the debit card/credit card or net banking. The General/Gen-EWS/OBC (NCL) candidates will have to pay Rs 1600 (Boys) and Rs. 800 (Girls).
For SC/ST/PwD/Transgender candidates the application fee is Rs 800 for boys and Rs 800 for girls.
GPAT 2021 Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must be an Indian Citizen. There is no age restriction for filling the application forms. The candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy (4 years after 10+2, including lateral entry students) or equivalent from a recognized university.
Such candidates appearing for the final year if bachelor’s degree B.Pharmacy (10+2+4) whose result will be declared before the starting of admission for academic year 2021-22 can apply for the examination.
Note: B.Tech (Pharmaceutical and Fine Chemical Technology)/ equivalent candidates are not eligible.
GPAT 2021 Exam pattern
The question paper will be in English medium and entrance test will be taken online. The question paper will have 125 mcqs and 3 hours will be provided to complete the entrance test. The examination will be of 500 marks. For each correct response 4 marks will be awarded and for each incorrect response 1 mark will be deducted from the total score. GPAT 2021 Admit Card
The admit card will be available on the NTA website. This is must to be carried by the candidate at the day of the examination. The examination date, exam timing and exam venue will be written in the admit card.
GPAT 2021 Answer Key
The answer key will be available on the NTA website few days after the examination. The applicants who are not satisfied with provisional answer keys, may challenge by filling the online application form. Candidates will have to pay Rs1000 per question for challenging it.
Results
The results will be available in the first week of February 2021. It will be released on the basis of final answer keys. The result will be released in the form of score card. GPAT score will be released on the basis of final answer keys.
Score Card
The score card will be released online. There shall be no provision for revaluation/rechecking of the score.
GPAT 2021 Counseling
The candidates have to apply separately in each participating institution for admission. Each participating institute will release their respective cut-off score which candidates should meet to get qualified for admission to that particular institute.
