TANCET 2021 Admission : Application Form, Registration, Eligibility

TANCET 2021 is a state level common entrance test organized by Anna University located in Chennai on the behalf of Government of Tamil Nadu. The examination is conducted every year. Through this examination candidates will get admission in MBA, M.Arch, M.Tech, M.Plan, MCA, M.E. Students who will qualify this examination will be eligible to get admission in Government and Non-Govt colleges. TANCET 2021 Important Dates

The application form will release in the first week of April 2021 and the last date to fill the online application will be 4^th week of April 2021. The admit card will be available in May 2021. TANCET 2021 exam will be held in May 2021. The result will be announced in the first week of June 2021 and the counseling will begin in July 2021.

TANCET 2021 Application Form

The application form will be available in online mode and will start from the first week of April 2021. In the application form students are advised to fill all the details correctly in the form. They will have to fill their personal details and their academic details in the form. The application form once filled cannot be modified.

Application Fee

For Tancet 2021 Admission, students will have to pay the application fee online. One important thing to be noted is for every additional course, applicant has to pay Rs. 500/- more (Rs 250 for SC/ST/SCA candidate of Tamil Nadu state)

The general candidates will have to pay a sum of Rs. 500 and ST/SC/SCA candidates will have to pay a sum of Rs 250/- .

TANCET 2021 Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality: Student must be citizen of India.

• Appearing: Students studying in the final semester of their qualifying exam are also eligible to apply.
• GATE Score: Students can also apply through GATE Scores without appearing for entrance exam. However, candidates with valid score in Engineering Science & Life Sciences have to appear for test to get admission.

For M.E. /M.Tech /M. Arch /M. Plan:

• Qualification:Students must have Bachelor’s degree in relevant field securing aggregate of 50% marks (45% for reserved candidates) from a recognized board or university.

For MBA:

• Qualification:Students must have Bachelor’s degree from any recognized board or university securing minimum of 50% marks (45% marks for reserved candidates).

For MCA:

• Qualification:Students must have Bachelor’s degree from any recognized board or university securing minimum of 50% marks (45% marks for reserved candidates).

TANCET 2021 Exam Pattern

For TANCET 2021 Admission, the entrance test will be held in the pen and paper mode and the time duration will be of two hours.

Total number of question will be 100 for MBA and MCA and for other courses there will be 115 questions.

The question paper will be of 100 marks.

Students will get 1 mark for every correct answer and 1/3 mark will be awarded for every incorrect answer.

TANCET 2021 Syllabus

For M.E./M.ARCH/PLAN/M.Tech

For the Section 1 the topics will be from Engineering Mathematics. It will be related to Transforms, Calculus and Differential Equations, Vector Calculus, Numerical Methods, Determinants and Matrices and Applied Probability.

For the Section 2, topics will be based on Basic Engineering and Sciences. And for the Section 3, topics will be from various specialized subjects.

For MBA

The questions in the paper will be included for testing the candidate’s ability & skills. Various sections will:

• Evaluate candidate’s skill in determining data sufficiency questions using the given data and mathematics questions.

• Identify critically the data and apply the data to business decision from given business situations.
• Also it will test candidate’s knowledge in English with questions asked on errors in usage, grammar, punctuation, etc.
• Evaluate candidate’s skill in answering questions based on the passages in the comprehension.

For MCA

Analytic Reasoning, Quantitative Ability, Computer Awareness and Logical Reasoning. Also, questions will be based on verbal activity, basic science, etc.

TANCET 2021 Admit Card

For Tancet 2021 Admission, the TANCET admit card of will release in May 2021. These will be available online and students will be able to check the exam venue, exam date, exam timing in the TANCET admit card. Students are advised to bring the admit card at the day of examination.

TANCET 2021 Answer Key

The answer key will be published in May 2021. Students will be able to download it online and can check the correct answers. Students will be able to calculate their marks through the answer key. They will be given an opportunity to submit suggestions or file objections against the answer key in case of mistakes in the answer key.

TANCET 2021 Result

TANCET 2021 Result will be available online in June 2021. Students will be able to download their score card  by their login credentials.

TANCET 2021 Cut Off

TANCET Cut off is the minimum score a candidate must attain to get selected in the TANCET exam. In this examination candidates will have to get the TANCET cut off marks for getting selected and also separate TANCET cut off will be released for various category candidates.

TANCET 2021 Counseling

For TANCET 2021 Admission, the counseling will be done after the declaration of results. Candidates who will get selected will be called for the counseling. Students are advised to carry all the important documents and certificates with them at the time of counseling.
