PUCET 2021: Panjab University, Chandigarh conducts Panjab University Common Entrance Test which is popularly known as PUCET. This entrance test is a university level exam which is conducted once in a year. This examination offers admission to the students in various UG/PG courses. Students will be given admission in Engineering, Law, Management, Arts, Humanities, Health and Science etc. Candidates will have to qualify the entrance examination to get admission into the university. They must know the PUCET 2021 exam date, application form release date, eligibility, exam pattern, syllabus etc.
PUCET 2021 Exam Date
The starting of registration will start in the third week of April 2021. The last date to apply is 3rd week of May 2021. The availability of admit card will be there in last week of May 2021. PUCET 2021 exam date will lie in 4th week of April 2021. The answer key will be available in the first week of June 2021. The result will be declared in the second week of June 2021 and the counseling will start in June 2021.
PUCET 2021 Application Form
The online application process will start from April 2021. Students will be able to fill the application form till third week of May 2021. Students are advised to fill the application forms correctly. They will have to fill their personal and academic details in the application forms.
Students are advised to upload their scanned images and signature in the prescribed format. In the application process, students will go through online registration, filling up of application form, uploading of scanned images and making payment of application fee. PUCET 2021 Eligibility Criteria
General Eligibility:
- Nationality:Applying candidate must be Indian national.
- Age Criteria: Applying candidate’s minimum age should be 17 years as on the admission year.

Qualification
- Candidates must have passed 12thlevel or its equivalent from a recognized board or university.
- Passed 12th level securing minimum of 50% marks. Candidates of ST/ SC/ OBC/ PWD category must have secured minimum of 45% marks.
- Passed 12th level with Physics, Chemistry, English subjects and any one subject among Mathematics / Biotechnology/ Biology.
PUCET 2021 Exam Pattern
- The exam will be organized in offline mode.
- Multiple Choice questions will be asked in the paper.
- 70 minutes will be provided for each section in the paper. Candidates belonging to PWD category will be provided 20 minutes extra.
- The paper will be available in English.
- For each correct answer, 2 marks will be awarded. For each incorrect answer, 0.5 marks will be deducted.
PUCET 2021 Syllabus
PUCET Syllabus will be set from 11th and 12th level recommended syllabus. The syllabus will be from various topics of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology subjects.
Physics:
Physical world and measurement, kinematics, work energy and power, law of motions, thermodynamics behavior of perfect gas and kinetic theory and oscillation and waves, properties of bulk matter, motion of systems and particles and rigid body gravitation, etc.
Chemistry:
Some of basic concept of chemistry, classifications of element and periodicity in properties, chemical bonding and molecular structure, structure of atom, hydrogen, organic chemistry- some basic principle and techniques, S-blocks elements, thermodynamics, equilibrium, redox reactions, hydrocarbons etc.
Mathematics:
Sets, relation and functions, principle of mathematical induction, binomial theorem, sequence and series, conic sections, introduction to three- dimensional geometry, limits and derivatives, mathematical reasoning, statics and probability, etc.
Biology:
Diversity in living world, human anatomy and physiology, cell structure & functions, structural organization in animals & plants, plant physiology, etc

PUCET 2021 Admit Card
PUCET 2021 admit card will be available in May 2021. It will be available online. The exam venue, timing and date will be available on the admit card. Students are advised to carry the admit card at the day of the examination.
PUCET 2021 Answer key
The answer key will be available in June 2021. Students will be able to download the answer key to check their answers given in the question paper.
PUCET 2021 Result
PUCET Result will be declared in the month of June 2021. Students will have to enter their login details to be able to check their result. The scorecard will be also provided on the website.
The result and scorecard will be available only through online mode.
PUCET 2021 Counselling
The counseling will be done after the result. Counseling will be done for seat allotment. It will be done in the month of June 2021. Students will have to carry the important documents and certificates with them at the day of counseling.
