IISER 2021: Indian Institute of Science Education and Research exam which is popularly known as IISER admission is done through SCB, KVPY, and JEE Advanced. This examination is a national level exam conducted by IISER. By giving the IISER SCB Aptitude test the candidate will be given admission in a 5-year dual degree BS-MS. SCB is the only stream through which the applicants will get admission based on the entrance test.
By getting admission in IISER the candidates will be offered admission in 7 IISER institutions which are located in Tirupati, Mohali, Kolkata, Behrampur, Thiruvananthapuram, Bhopal, and Pune. IISER 2021 Important Dates
The application form will release in the third week of March 2021. The last date of submission of the application form will lie in the fourth week of April 2021. The admit card will be available in the second week of May 2021. The last date to submit 12th marks and category certificates will lie in the third week of May 2021.
The IISER Aptitude test will be held in the fourth week of May 2021. The answer key will be available in the first week of June 2021. For KVPY Channel
The application forms will be available in the third week of April 2021 and the last date to submit documents in 3rd week of May 2021. The first seat allotment will be done in the first week of June 2021.
For JEE Advanced Channel
The application forms will be available in the first week of June 2021. The last date to submit all the documents is the second week of June 2021. The first seat allocation process will be done in the second week of June 2021.
IISER 2021 Admission 2021 Application Form
The application form of IISER 2021 for all channels will be released online but for different channels, the forms will release on different dates. Candidates will be allowed to apply for all three channels. Students will be given the option to choose between seven institutions of IISER. Students are advised to upload all the documents and photographs carefully in the application form.

IISER 2021 Application Fee
The application fee for general category candidates is Rs 2000 and for SC/ST and Kashmiri Migrants, it will be Rs 1000. The application fee can be filled through credit card, debit card, or net banking.
IISER 2021 Eligibility Criteria
The Indian citizen, Person of Indian Origin (PIO) and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) candidates are eligible to sit in the examination. For the KVYP channel, the applicant must have a valid KVYP Fellowship starting for the year 2021-2022. For JEE Advanced the general category candidates must qualify JEE Advanced 2021 and will have to obtain a rank within 10000 in Common Rank List. The category rank criteria will be there for the reserved category candidates.
For the SCB Channel, the applicant must have passed or is appearing in the intermediate exam with a Science subject. The SCB cut off will be decided by the institution based on various factors. SCB channel candidates will have to appear in the IISER Aptitude test 2021.

IISER Admission 2021 Exam Pattern
The exam will be conducted online and each subject will contain 15 questions. Therefore there will be 60 questions in the examination. Candidates will be given 3 hours to solve the question paper. For each correct answer, 3 marks will be given and one mark will be cut for each wrong answer.
The question paper will have four sections that are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology. Each subject will be of 45 marks.
IISER 2021 Admit Card
The admit card will be available online in the second week of May for the SCB channel. Candidates are advised to carry the admit card on the day of the examination as without it entry won’t be given in the examination. The test center, test date, and test timing will be mentioned on the admit card.
IISER 2021 Answer Key
The answer key will be made available in the online mode. For the SCB channel, it will be released in the first week of June 2021. Through the answer key, the candidates will be able to judge their performance.
