Directorate of Technical Education, Goa conducts GCET that is Goa Common Entrance Test which a state level examination. The examination is being taken for different professional degree programs. Candidates will get admission on the basis of their score in this examination. The candidates who have qualified NEET will get admission into MBBS, BHMS, BDS, BAMS and allied health science and B.Sc. in nursing courses. GCET 2021 Important Dates
The prospectus will be uploaded in the 4th week of February 2021 and the application form will release in the 4th week of March 2021. The last date to submit the application form is 4th week of April and the late fee will be Rs. 1500, so the students are advised to keep checking the application forms on the official website.
The admit cards will be available from 4th week of March to 4th week of April. The exams will be held in the 1st week of May. The results will be declared in the 3rd week of May. The counseling process will begin from 4th week of May.
GCET 2021 Application Form
The application form will be available via offline mode and candidates will be able to fill the application form from last week of March 2021. The application form must be submitted at the notified locations as per center opted on the particular dates with the fee submission. Candidates who will submit the late application fee will be charged Rs. 1500 as the late fee fine along with the application fee. Details of GCET 2021 exam pattern and eligibility are below.
Candidates will be able to download the application form online or from the application center. The application form submission will be successful only after the submission of fee. The candidates will have to fill all the personal details and academic qualifications correctly in the form. They will also have to pay the application fee after filling up the form in the last step for the final submission.

Application Form Fee
Candidates will have to pay the fee through demand draft which will be made in the favor of “Director of Technical Education” at Panaji, Goa or any scheduled bank. The application fee for all the candidates is Rs. 2000. GCET 2021 eligibility given below.
GCET 2021 Eligibility
- Indian national citizen candidates will be eligible to apply for GCET 2021.
- Candidates must qualify 12thlevel examination with Science to be eligible for examination.
- Candidates must have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as their mandatory subject with additional subject among any one from Biotechnology/ Biology/ Chemistry/ Computer Science.
- He/ She must score minimum 45% marks for general category (40% for reserved category) candidates.
- Candidates seeking admission to degree courses in Architecture must appear & must have a valid score in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) 2021.

GCET 2021 Exam Pattern
GCET 2021 examination will be taken offline and answers will have to be given on the OMR sheet.
The exam duration is 2 hours and 75 questions will be asked in the question paper.
All the questions will be multiple-choice questions, and each right answer will be awarded one mark.
There will be 5 sections in the question paper Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and English.
The number of questions in each subject is 75 and each paper will be of 75 marks.
GCET 2021 Syllabus
The syllabus of the examination will be prescribed by Goa Board of Secondary and Higher education, Porvorium.
Candidates are advised to study the syllabus of intermediate. They are advised to focus on science that includes Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as well as Biology.

GCET Hall Ticket
The hall ticket of the candidate will be available in the first week of April 2021. Candidates can download the hall ticket online by login credentials. Without the hall ticket no candidate will be allowed to give the examination and so they are advised to carry the hall ticket with themselves while going to give the examination. Along with the admit card candidates will have to carry one valid id proof such as Aadhar card, Pan Card or Driving License with themselves.
GCET 2021 Answer Key
The answer key will be issued by the authority in the third week of May online. The answer key for all the different papers will be issued separately. Candidates will be given an opportunity to challenge the answer key by giving the proof of the right answer being considered by the candidate. After the release of the final answer key no objection would be entertained.
GCET 2021 Result
The result will be made available online and on the notice board of DTE in the third week of May 2021. Authority will release the merit list for all the offered courses based on GCET scores. After the candidate has got a place in the merit list he/she will be called for the counseling round.

GCET 2021 Counseling
The counseling will be done for document verification and seat allocation. All the qualified candidates will have to participate in it. The counseling will be done online from the last week of May 2021.
