Calcutta University 2021 Important Dates
For UG courses
The application form process will start in June 2021. The merit list will be released in June-July 2021. The admission will start in the second week of June 2021. The last date for admission is the first week of July 2021. The classes will commence from the first week of July 2021. The last date to change the subject is the 2nd week of August 2021. For PG courses the application form will start in May 2021 and the submission of the application form will start in the first week of July 2021.

What Is The Application Fee for Calcutta University 2021
Candidates will be able to submit the application fee through online mode. The fee will be submitted through credit card/ debit card and net banking. For the general category, the application fee for the UG course is Rs 100 and for SC/ST the application fee is Rs 50. For the PG course, the application fee is Rs 200 and for SC/ST it is Rs 100. For MBA the application fee is Rs 1000 and only for West Bengal candidates it is Rs 500.
Calcutta University Admission Eligibility Criteria 2021
The candidates must qualify 12th level examination from any recognized board or university. He/she must have scored a minimum of 50 percent marks for the qualifying exam to be eligible and it must be 45 percent for SC/ST category. For UG courses the WBJEE scores will be considered.
For PG courses
Applicants must be a graduate from any recognized University and must score 45 percent to be eligible for the examination. This will be 40 percent for SC/ST category.

Calcutta University 2021 Exam Pattern
For getting admission in UG courses there will be no entrance examination. The candidates will be selected based on the qualifying examination. For B. Tech WBJEE scores will be considered.
The exam will not be held in pen and paper mode, it will be taken on a computer. Candidates will get one hour to solve the question paper. There will be 50 questions in the paper. Each right answer will consist of 1 mark and 0.5 marks will get deducted for each incorrect answer.
