BITSAT 2021

BITSAT 2021 is a university level entrance examination which will offer admission into various Integrated first degree programs. Through this examination students will get admission into B.E., B. Pharma and M.Sc. Programs.

The admission will be offered in the BITS campuses located in Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad. This entrance examination will be conducted by Birla Institute of Technology and Science. BITSAT Important Dates

The application form of BITSAT 2021 will release in the 3^rd week of December 2020. The last date of submitting the application form is 2^nd week of March. The application form correction facility will be given in from 2^nd to 3^rd week of March 2021. The exam center allotment will be done in the 4^th week of March 2021.

The examination slot booking process will be done in the 4^th week of March to 1^st week of April 2021. The hall ticket will be distributed in the 2^nd week of April to 2^nd week of May 202. BITSAT 2021 examination will be held in the 3^rd to 4^th week of May 2021. The admission process will be done between 1^st week of May and 3^rd week of June. The admit list and wait list will release in the 3^rd week of June 2021.

BITSAT 2021 Application Form

The candidates will submit the forms online. The process of filling the forms will begin in the third week of December 2020. Correction facility will be provided to the students but the candidates are advised to fill the application forms correctly. Candidates are advised to fill the educational qualifications and personal details correctly in the application forms. Candidates will have to upload scanned passport size image and signature in the prescribed format in the application form. International candidates will also have to follow the same process to register for BITSAT 2021. Candidates are also advised to take the print out for future reference. BITSAT 2021 Application Fee

Candidates will be able to submit the application forms online as well as offline. For online payment applicants would be able to fill up the forms of credit card, debit card and net banking. Male candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs. 3150, for the female candidates the application fee will be Rs 2650. For applicants opting Dubai the application fee is Rs. 5600.

BITSAT 2021 Eligibility Criteria

For B.Pharma

Candidates will have to qualify 12^th or equivalent examination from any recognized board or university.

Candidates must score minimum 75 percent marks in all the subjects and 60 percent in each subject.

Candidates must have Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics with adequate proficiency in English in the qualifying examination.

For First degree program except B. Pharma

Candidates must qualify intermediate exam from any recognized board or university to be eligible for the examination.

He/she must score at least 75 percent marks in all the subjects and 60 percent in each subject.

Candidates must have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with adequate proficiency in English.

Appearing candidates will also be eligible for the examination.

BITSAT Examination Pattern

The exam will be conducted online and there will be 150 questions in the examination. All the questions will be multiple choice questions and the medium of examination will be English. The question paper will have 4 sections. Time duration for the examination will be 3 hours. Each correct answer will consist of 3 marks and 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

Section Wise Distribution Of Questions

There will be 40 questions in Physics and Chemistry. The second section will consist of English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning having 15 and 10 questions from each respectively. The third section will be of Biology/Mathematics have 45 questions.

BITSAT 2021 Syllabus

The examination be based on NCERT class 11^th and 12^th syllabus. Some of the topics are listed below. Students can prepare topic wise for the examination.

• Physics: Topics under Physics will be as units & measurement, rotational motion, mechanics of solid, Heat & thermodynamics, rotational motion, etc.

• Chemistry: The various topics will be as atomic structure, states of matter, physical & chemical equilibrium, s & p-block elements, principles of organic chemistry, hydrocarbons, and much more.

• Mathematics: Some of the topics will be as algebra, trigonometry, three-dimensional geometry, differential calculus, linear programming, etc.

• English Proficiency: Vocabulary, Grammar, Reading Comprehension, Analogy, and Composition.

• Logical Reasoning: Verbal reasoning- Analogy, Classification, reading passage, and many others. Non-verbal reasoning- Figure Matrix, paper cutting, rule detection, and many other topics.

BITSAT 2021 Slot Booking

The slot booking process will commence after the completion of the application procedure. It will begin from the first week of March 2021 and continue till April 2021. Candidates will have to go to the website for slot booking. They will have to choose the exam date and time of the examination.

BITSAT 2021 Result

The result will be out in the last week of May 2021 and students will be able to check the results online. Qualified candidates will participate in the counseling process for getting admission.
