AURCET/APRCET 2019 – Directorate of Admissions of Andhra Pradesh has released the application form for the session 2019. Andhra University invites application for Andhra University Research Common Entrance Test 2019 for different courses in PhD and M.Phil Programmes. In order to take admission into Andhra University through AURCET, the candidates will have to fill the AURCET Application Form which was available from the 11th of July to the 8th of August 2019. Before the candidate fills the application form of AURCET, he/ she will have to make sure that he/ she is eligible enough. After a few days of the submission of the application form, the university issued AURCET hall ticket. The admit card was available in the month of August 2019. This is to be noted that the applicants had to carry their hall tickets to the centre of the exam. The entrance examination was conducted in November 2019.
All candidates who possess a master’s or professional degree (equivalent to a master’s degree) with at least 55% aggregate marks or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7-point scale are eligible to apply for APRCET 2019.
Students who have qualified UGC NET, JRF and GATE, where the candidate’s score validity period has not expired, need not sit for the entrance exam.
The entrance exam for MPhil and PhD admissions will be conducted in a total of 68 subjects.

How to fill AURCET/APRCET 2019 Application Form?
The steps to fill the Andhra Pradesh Research Common Entrance Test Application Form is given below:
- Firstly, go on the official website of Andhra University.
- Secondly, after reading the instructions carefully and click on the “Apply Now” option.
- Also, register yourself by creating a “login ID” and “password”
- Now, fill in the application form by carefully entering the personal details and academic qualification.
- Finally, Pay of application fee.
- In addition, download the application form and take the printout as it might be useful for future correspondence

- Select the eligible courses and corresponding tests.
- Caste in case of SC/ST/BC candidates.

Eligibility Criteria of AURCET/APRCET 2019

- FULL-TIME M. Phil. / Ph. D. Programme: Post-graduate degree holders with at least 55% of marks (50% in the case of SC/ST Candidates) or equivalent CGPA in the concerned subject or in an allied subject or any other PG Degree recognised by the University as equivalent are therefore prescribed in eligibility criteria, can apply for full-time M. Phil. / Ph.D. degree. They must also qualify in AURCET-2018.
- PART-TIME M. Phil / Ph. D. Programme: In-Service candidates satisfying the above eligibility conditions can apply for part-time. Admission into part-time programmes will be made by preparing merit order by considering rank and service weight.
Exam Pattern of AURCET/APRCET 2019

After the written examination there will be an oral examination which will be for 10 marks which will be conducted in Departments by the concerned DRC. The minimum qualifying marks in AURCET is 25 marks and no minimum marks for SC/ST/PHC category students. According to the number of seats available and the number of applications received, the University reserves the complete right to conduct or not to conduct the test
AURCET/APRCET Admit Card/ Hall Ticket 2019
The hall ticket of APRCET 2019 will be out on the 28th of October 2019. It will be mandatory for the candidates to bring the admit card along with them to their allotted test centres. If the candidate fails to bring the admit card along with them, then the authority will not allow him/ her to take the examination. The candidates need to make sure that the information in the admit card is absolutely correct. In case of any discrepancy, the candidates must to contact the examination authorities. In order to download the AURCET Admit Card, the candidate needs to go to the official website of Andhra University and then click on the given link of admit card. After that, the candidate needed to fill in the required credentials in the given blanks. After filling the details, the screen would display the Hall Ticket of the candidate of which the applicant needed to print 1 copy.
AURCET/APRCET Result 2019
The Andhra University will release AURCET Result 2019 online in the month of December 2019 on the official website of Andhra University. In order to check the results, the candidate needs to go to the official website, and then click on the given link of result. After that, the candidate has to fill in the required details in the given blank. It is to be noted that the information has to be filled accurately, lest the candidate will be stopped from accessing his/her result. After providing all the information, the screen would display the scorecard of the applicant, which the candidate needed to get printed for future purposes.
AURCET/APRCET Counselling 2019
After releasing the results, Andhra University will conduct the counselling session in the month of December 2019. The candidates, who clear the Andhra University Research Common Entrance Test 2019 will have to attend the counselling session. The candidate needs to reach his/her counselling centre on time. It is mandatory for the candidate to attend the counselling session. If one fails to attend the counselling session, then he/she will not be allowed to take admission in Andhra University. In the counselling sessions, the candidates will get a chance to chose the college as per their choice.

In EAMCET you should get below 3000(approx) rank to get seat in Andhra University or else NO seat. Now there is another entrance exam only for ANDHRA UNIVERSITY which was started from 2012 .
Andhra University (AU) will conduct Andhra Pradesh Research Common Entrance Test (APRCET) also known as AURCET for the academic session, 2019-20 tentatively in November 2019.
