Lucknow University Admission 2021

Lucknow University will conduct an entrance examination to offer admission to students into various UG and PG courses. This examination is conducted every year by the university. The university offers  admission into B.A., B.Sc, B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA. For taking admission into MBA students will have to give LUMET test or can even take the admission through CAT examination. Lucknow University 2021 Important Dates

For admission into UG courses of Lucknow University the application form will release in the third week of March 2021. The last date to submit the application form without late fee is 2^nd week of April. The last date to submit it with late fees is 3^rd week of April 2021. The admit card will be available in the third week of April 2021. The exam will be held in the 4^th week of April to 1^st week of May 2021. The result will be declared in the 4^th week of May. The counseling will be done in the 4^th week of May.

For PG courses the application form will release in the 3^rd week of March. Last date to submit the form without late fee is in the 2^nd week of April and to do it with late fee is 3^rd week of April 2021. The admit card will be available in the first week of May. The exam will be held between the 4^th week of April and 1^st week of May. The result will be declared in the 4^th week of June and the counseling will be held in the 4^th week of June 2021.

Lucknow University Application Form 2021

The admission form will be available online and candidates will be able to fill it in the third week of March 2021.

Candidates are advised to fill all the details correctly in the application form. They will be asked to fill the personal details and educational qualification in the form.

Candidates will also upload class 10^th and 12^th mark sheets and certificates in the application form.

The application form correction facility will be provided to the students

Candidates are requested to take the print out of the application for future reference.

Application Fee

Candidates will have to pay the fee online.

This can be done through debit/credit card as well as through net banking.

The application fee for UG courses is

For General and OBC the application fee is Rs 800 without late fee and with late fee they will have to pay Rs 1800. For SC and ST the fee will be Rs 400 and with late fee it is Rs. 1400.

The application fee for PG courses is

For General and OBC category the application fee is Rs 1000 and with late fee the application fee is Rs 2000.

For SC and ST the application fee is Rs 500 and with late fee the application fee is Rs 1500.

Lucknow University 2021 Eligibility

For B.A. (Hons)

• Qualification: Candidates must qualify 12^th level examination from any recognized board or university.

• Percentage: Candidates must score minimum 60% marks in the qualifying exam (55% for reserved category).

For B.Sc. (Mathematics)

• Qualification: Candidates must qualify intermediate examination from any recognized board or university to be eligible.

• Mandatory subject: Candidates must have Mathematics as mandatory subject in the qualifying exam.
• Percentage: Candidates must score minimum 40% marks in the qualifying exam (33% marks for SC/ST).

For B.Sc. (Biology)

• Qualification: Candidates must qualify 12^th or equivalent examination from any recognized board or university.

• Percentage: General candidates must score minimum 40% marks & 33% for reserved category candidates.

For PG Students

• Qualification: Candidates must qualify A, B.Sc., B.Com or other PG courses to be eligible for PG admissions.

• Percentage: Candidates must score minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ ST) to be eligible for the examination.

For MBA

• Qualification: Candidates must qualify graduation in any stream to be eligible for examination.

• Candidates will be also eligible to apply through national level test scores of CAT.

Lucknow University 2021 Exam Pattern

UG

Total number of questions will be 100

All the questions will be multiple choice

Candidates will get one hour and 30 minutes to solve the question paper

Each correct answer will consist of  4 marks

1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

PG

Question paper will be divided into three sections

Candidates will get 2 hours to solve the question paper

Section A will have 5 questions, 3 questions will be in section B and 2 questions will be Section C.

Lucknow University 2021 Syllabus

In the UG level entrance examination the questions asked will be of the intermediate level and for PG level the questions will be asked from the graduation level. Candidates are advised to read the brochure before sitting in the examination.
