Computer Science Engineering (CSE) is the study of computers and their functioning. It includes the design of microprocessors and software’s. But you can’t obviously reach this level directly. It is a process. Continue reading to know more about it.
COMPUTER SCIENCE ENGINEERING
Bachelor’s in Computer Science or B.E. in CSE is a 4-year undergraduate course. It is a perfect blend of software and hardware. Teaches you to develop software and the know-how of technology to the core. It also tells you about hardware. The composition of devices you use every day. This article will tell you about the procedure requirements and good reasons to get a degree in CSE.
WHY CSE?
This is a generation of tech-savvy people. Not knowing how to operate a laptop ora mobile phone is considered outdated. So imagine actually knowing what makes your phone function the way it does. It is a very interesting subject and makes you think beyond the capabilities of a common man. Haven’t you wondered how your laptop works? Or how does Google find the answer to every question so quickly? CSE will help you find the answer.

PREREQUISITES:
CSE is one of the top-notch branches of engineering and taking admission in this course has a few requirements. Have a look at them!
EDUCATION: It is mandatory to have done physics, chemistry, and maths in your 11th and 12th classes. This trio is often referred to as “non-medical”. In short, you cannot opt for CSE or any engineering if you haven’t taken up these subjects. You should score between 60-75% as your PCM aggregate in the board examinations.
ENTRANCE EXAMS: JEE-Mains in the prime examination to get admission to most Indian colleges. JEE-Advance is the exam to enter the might IITs. Some colleges like BIITS have their separate entrance exams too.
CUTOFF:
The cutoff simply varies for CSE in different colleges. But you should know that the highest scoring students get a seat in this course. As I earlier mentioned, this course contains the cream of engineering students.

JEE-MAINS, ADVANCE
A good score in the infamous JEE-Mains and Advance is your key to some of the top colleges in India.
SYLLABUS: Both these examinations have questions based on PCM( Physics, chemistry, math’s) of classes 11th and 12th. The questions are Multiple-Choice-Questions or MCQ’s. Â The level of difficulty is higher for the Advance exam. You need to practice way more difficult questions if you’re aiming for JEE-Advance.
DIFFICULTY: The JEE exams are not famous for being a piece of cake. You’ll need much more than NCERT-level practice to get a decent score in the same. Many students follow coaching centers and test series to prepare for these.
