Uttarakhand PCS 2020 The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) conducts the UK PCS exam .UKPSC will be publishes the official notification for Uttarakhand PCS 2020 to fill various post of civil servants in various departments under the Uttarakhand state government.
The examination consists of three stages as under:
- Preliminary Exam (Objective Type)
- Main Exam (Subjective Type)
- Personal Interview
Candidates have to qualify each section of the examination for qualifying the Uttarakhand PCS exam. It is a quite tough exam hence, everyone must put 100% effort on preparation of the exam. The candidates must collect proper information about the examination process including syllabus etc.

Uttarakhand PCS Application Form 2020
Uttarakhand PCS 2020 application Form will be available on the official website of the UPSC. The candidates have to fill all the required educational and personal details in the application form such as their name, address and the details of the qualifying exam passed. After providing the details, the candidates have to upload the scanned copies of passport size photograph and signature in the application form.
Application Fee
The application fee will also be different for the Pre and Mains exam as given below:
For Uttarakhand PCS pre exam 2020
General/ OBC/ Dependent on freedom fighter candidates: Rs. 150 /-
SC/ ST/ PWD/ Ex-servicemen: Rs. 60 /-
For Uttarakhand PCS Main exam 2020
General Candidates: Rs. 250/-
OBC/ Dependent on freedom fighter candidates/ Ex-servicemen: Rs: 150/-
SC/ ST/ PWD candidates: Rs. 100/-
UKPSC Eligibility Criteria
Candidates have to check all the eligibility conditions before applying to the exam. Not satisfying any eligibility condition may lead to the cancellation of the candidature at any point of the examination process.
Nationality
- All citizens of India are permitted to attempt the exam.
- Residents from other states are also permitted to attempt the exam.
Education Qualification
- Candidates must hold a minimum of three years of bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in India.
- Any qualification that is equivalent to graduation or 3 year bachelor degree, which is recognized by UGC or any government recognized university, shall also be considered valid.
Age Limit
Minimum age limit: 21 years
Maximum age limit: 42 years
Age Relaxation
Candidates from reserved categories get relaxation in upper age limit:
- For SC/ST candidates: 5 years.
- For OBC candidates: 3 years.
Number of attempts
The UKPSC generally publishes advertisements and calls in for recruitment to various civil service cadres once in four to five years. Going by this frequency, candidates can attempt the exam till they are 40 years of age, though officially, there is no specification by the commission in the notification gazette on this matter.
Uttarakhand PCS Admit Card 2020
The Candidates will get the Uttarakhand PCS 2020 admit card after the submission of the application form. The admit card will be available on the official portal of Uttarakhand Public Service Commission.
Preliminary Exam pattern
Mode of Exam: Offline
Type of Questions: Objective Type multiple choice questions will be asked.
Subjects: General Studies and General Aptitude
Number of Questions: 250 (150 for General Studies and 100 for General Aptitude)
Maximum Marks: 300 (150 for each subject)
Duration of Exam: 4 Hours (2 Hours for each subject)
For Main Exam
- The Uttarakhand PCS 2020 main exam will be a descriptive written exam having seven Question papers of different subjects.
- The duration to solve each question paper will be 3 Hours
- The maximum marks in the Main exam will be 1500.
The subject wise distribution of marks in the main exam will be as follows:
Language: 300 Marks
History of India, National Movement, Society and Culture: 200 Marks
Indian Polity, Social Justice and International relation: 200 Marks
India and World Geography: 200 Marks
Economic and Social Development: 200 Marks
General Science and Technology: 200 Marks
General Aptitude and Ethics: 200 Marks
Note: The Interview will carry 200 Marks
Uttarakhand PCS 2020 Result
Soon after the release of answer keys, the result of the UK PCS exam will be released in online mode through the official website. The candidates who will be successful in the Preliminary exam can apply for the main exam. Please note the result of Main exam and interview will release together. The final cut off will be from 1700 marks. Where 1500 marks will be based on Main exam performance and 200 marks will be based on performance in Interview.
