Uttar Pradesh MBBS/BDS Admission 2021 will be starting after the completion of NEET 2021 exam. It has many state universities and colleges those offer education in the medical field (MBBS/BDS) through national level (NEET) entrance exam. The Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Lucknow is the responsible body to Conduct UP NEET Counselling 2021.
UP MBBS/BDS Admission 2021 Procedure : How To Apply
The MBBS/BDS Admission In Uttar Pradesh is done through the UP NEET Counselling . All the eligible candidates have to appear in UP MBBS Counselling to get admission on the basis of their secured rank in NEET Exam. There is no other examination is conducted to offer admissions in the MBBS/BDS courses in the state. The application process of UP MBBS/BDS Admission 2021 will be through online mode.

- Step:1 Candidate must qualify in NEET 2021 Exam

- Step:3 After that all the eligible candidate have to register for UP NEET Counselling 2021
- Step:4 After successful registration and deposition of the security money, a candidate needs to report to the nodal centres for verification of documents.

All medical college and university of Uttar Pradesh will be considering the NEET score card for admission of candidates in their campus. The seats will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of merit list prepared on the basis of entrance exam.
UP MBBS Admission 2021 Eligibility
- Candidate should be a citizen of India.
- OCI candidates are also eligible to apply.
- The minimum age to apply should be 17 years as on 31st December in the year of admission.
- The maximum age is 25 years and 30 years for reserve categories.
- Candidates should pass the Intermediate/12th examination with PCB and English subject from any recognized board.
- The candidate should obtain 50% minimum marks (40% for reserve category candidates) and 45% for PH general candidates in the qualifying exam.
- Candidates those studying in 12th class can also apply.

Selection Procedure
The counselling authority publishes the NEET merit list for the qualified candidates along with the result. Candidates are allowed to participate in the counselling process as per the prepared merit list.
The counselling will be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) through online mode. During the counselling procedure, candidates are required to fill the choices of colleges.
Seats will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of rank scored and the choices of their preference. The candidates are advised to report to the allotted institution with seat allotment letter before the last date of admission. The seats will be considered as confirmed only after the successful payment of the admission fee.

Ans: For General category candidates, it is mandatory to score 50% marks in 12th grade, whereas SC/ST/OBC category candidates must score 40% marks to become eligible for NEET 2021.
Ans: Candidates who wish to take admission to government medical colleges will have to deposit Rs 30,000 as security money. This will be adjusted against the course fee. The revised fee structure will be released soon.
Ans: There are nearly 2,200 seats for MBBS and around 50 seats fot BDS courses on offer in government colleges through UP NEET 2021 counselling.
Ans: DGME, Lucknow has yet to announce the date for choice filling for the first round of UP MBBS 2021 counselling.
