Punjab MBBS Admission 2021 are done on the basis of NEET result. Students can check the NEET MBBS seats to evaluate their chances of getting admission. Punjab MBBS Admission 2021 Procedure
The admission in medical colleges of Punjab will be done on the basis of the marks obtained in national level entrance examination known as NEET. For the admission into MBBS & BDS for both government as well as private colleges the Punjab NEET counselling 2021 will be conducted for the 85% state quota seats by the state authority whereas MCC will conduct the counselling for 15% All India Quota seats.
There will be one and only national level entrance exam which is conducted for admission in medical courses in any state medical colleges. Authority will consider the NEET score for filling the vacant seats in MBBS and BDS programs in Punjab medical/Dental colleges.

Punjab MBBS Admission 2021 Eligibility
- Age: Students must be at least 17 years old as on December 31, 2021 to apply for Punjab NEET admission.
- Academic qualification: Students must have passed/appeared for class 12 qualifying examinations. General category students must score a minimum of 50% marks while OBC/SC/ST candidates must score at least 45% marks in class 12 exams.
- Subjects studied:Students must compulsorily study Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology in class 12.
- Domicile:To apply for Punjab MBBS 2021 admission, applicant must be a domicile of the state. The following candidates are eligible.
- Children of defence personnel posted in Punjab
- NRI candidates
- Students belonging to minority communities
- Wards of deceased government employees were posted in Punjab at least for 2 years out of three before the year of passing class 12.These students must have passed class 12 from outside the state.
- NEET 2021:As mentioned above, only NEET 2021 qualified Students are eligible for Punjab MBBS/BDS admission. Students who will secure the NEET cutoff 2021 will be declared qualified.

MBBS Admission Selection Procedure
Students can participate in the counselling after appearing in the NEET exam. Students will be invited for counselling process as per their performance in the entrance exam after the announcement of the written result.
In the counselling procedure, Students have to choose the colleges as per their preference where they are looking for admission.
The seats will be allotted to the Students according to the candidate rank, filled choices and availability of the seats.
After seat allotment process, Students have to report at the allotted college/institution to complete admission process.
