TNEA 2021: Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission which is popularly known as TNEA is conducted every year by Anna University. Students through this get admission in Engineering colleges. They can pursue UG courses such as BE and B.Tech based on the scores in class 12th. TNEA 2021 Important Dates
The TNEA 2021 exam notification dates will release in April 2021 and the application forms will be available in the first week of May 2021. The last date to apply is May 2021 and the last date to submit the application form is the first week of June 2021. The random numbers allotment will be done in the third week of June 2021 and the release of the rank list will be done in the fourth week of June 2021. The counseling will begin from the 3rd week of July 2021.

TNEA 2021 Application Form
The TNEA Application Form will release online in the first week of May 2021. Candidates can apply for TNEA online and with all the documents till the first week of July 2021. For different courses and colleges, a single application form will have to be filled. No correction chance will be given to the candidates so the candidates will have to fill all the details in the form correctly. Students must apply with the necessary documents to The Secretary, Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions, Anna University, Chennai-600025.

Application Fee

TNEA 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Candidate applying must have done his/her intermediate form the school in Tamil Nadu
Students belonging to any other state must have completed their intermediate from Tamil Nadu.
Candidates from outside Tamil Nadu are required to show their nativity certificate only in the form of a digitally signed E-certificate.
Children of central government employees can also apply for TNEA.
Qualifications
Applicant must have passed intermediate or its equivalent from a recognized board or university.
The percentage in 12th must be a minimum of 50 percent, for OBC- 45 percent, For SC/ST/DNC/MBC/SCA it is 40 percent.
The subjects of the student in class 12th must be Physics, Chemistry, and Maths.
For Marine Engineering
The applicant must have passed intermediate with PCM and English. There must be 60 percent marks in PCM and 50 percent in English.
Applicant must be of 25 years of age.
TNEA Counseling
The counseling will be done based on the merit list in the third week of July 2021. There will be five rounds in counseling and students will have to choose their colleges and course.
TNEA Admission
Students who have cleared the counseling rounds will be called for admissions. Candidates will have to go to their allotted colleges with the provisional admission letter.
