After a very recent deferral of the Rajasthan Eligibility Exam for Teacher (REET) 2021 to June 20, 2021, the long awaited exam is yet again expected to be postponed as per latest media reports. Although there is no official announcement till now, the state education minister has expressed skepticism that the exam can be conducted on June 20 in light of the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic.

The Rajasthan government approved the conduct of the REET 2021 exam after a long wait. Recently the government approved the conduction of the exam and the exam date was scheduled on April 25, 2021. However, very recently, the exam was postponed and the new date of conducting the exam was set to be on June 20, 2021.

Now, as per latest news, the exam may be postponed yet again due to the COVID-19 pandemic. If the exam is  postponed yet again, then this will be the fifth time that the exam gets postponed in a duration of the last one year and six months.

Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teacher (REET) is held by Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (BSER). The State-level REET exam is conducted for the recruitment of teacher for two different levels, Level I or Primary Teacher and Level II or Upper Primary Teacher. As per various media sources, REET notification will be out soon to fill vacancies for 32,000 posts.

REET Exam Dates 2021

REET Notification 05-Jan-2021 REET notification 2021 has been released. Online application to begin soon.
REET Application 11-Jan-2021 REET application process has started, candidates can apply now.
REET Application Form Last Date 08-Feb-2021 The last date to apply for REET 2021 is February 8, 2021.
Admit Card Download 14-April-2021 REET admit card will be released one week before the examination, candidates can download their REET admit card from the official website of BSER.
REET Exam Date 2021 20-June-2021

RTET exam for paper-I and paper-II will be held on the same date. The exam was to be held on June 20.

REET Result 2021 To be updated REET result is declared soon after the completion of the assessment process.

FAQ’S

Q1 Is Reet exam postponed 2021?

Ans The revised dates are not yet announced, however, Govind Singh Dotasara in a press briefing said that it is unlikely for the state to hold REET 2021 in June. The Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) is expected to be postponed once again. This time the exam is to be deferred due to the pandemic.

Q2 Who can apply Reet 2021?

Ans There is no maximum age criteria for REET 2021 exam. What are the qualifications required for REET Level 1 teacher? Candidates must have Senior Secondary or equivalent to 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2nd-year Diploma in Elementary Education in order to appear for REET Level 1 teacher exam.

Q3 Does Reet have negative marking?

Ans REET is conducted Offline & comprises two levels. There is no negative marking.

Q4 Can Btech student apply for Reet?

Ans Yes they can . a btech graduate in electronics can work as a work experience teacher in some schools like kvs. Then they can also become a science teacher in school after acquiring a b. ed degree.
