NEET PG counseling 2021 will take place once the examination has been organized. The counseling will most probably take place in the third week of March 2021.
The NEET PG counseling 2021 will be conducted by the Medical Counseling Committee on behalf of the Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
There will be two rounds in NEET PG 2021 Counseling, if there are seats vacant after the first round of counseling it will be filled in the second round. The third round will be conducted only if any seats are left vacant after the completion of the second round.

NEET PG 2021 Counseling Highlights
NEET PG 2021 Counseling will be conducted by MCC on behalf of the Directorate General of Health Services. The participating institutes are 114 in number and the mode of counseling is online which will be conducted on the official website that is MCC.nic.in.
First Round of Counseling
The online registration for the first round of counseling will start from the third week of March 2021. The last date for payment of the counseling fee is the third week of March 2021. The choice filling will start from the third week of March 2021 and the seat allotment list will be released in the last week of March. Second Round of Counseling
The online registration will start in the second week of April 2021. The last date for payment of the counseling fee will start in the second week of April 2021. The choice filling will start in the second week of April 2021. The seat allotment list will release in the second week of April 2021. The reporting to the institute allotted will be done in the second week of April 2021 and the transfer of vacant seats to state quota will begin from the third week of April 2021.
Mop-up round of counseling
The online registration starts in the last week of April 2021. The last date for payment of the counseling fee is the second week of May 2021. The choice filling will start in the second week of May 2021. The seat allotment list will be released in the third week of May 2021 and the reporting to the institute will be done in the third week of May 2021. The transfer of vacant seats to the university will be done in the last week of May 2021 and the stray vacant round will happen in the last week of May 2021.

Some recent changes in NEET PG Counseling
Recently some changes have been done by MCC in the NEET PG Counseling. Now those candidates who are appearing for the second round of counseling will have to register again.
The counseling will be conducted for three groups of seats that are
- 50 percent All India Quota Seats
- Armed Forces Medical Services
- Deemed and Central universities.
NEET PG State counseling 2021
The NEET PG state counseling will begin after the exams are organized. The first round of PG Counseling will start from April 20 onwards.
