NEET PG 2021 exam date: The National Board of Examinations organizes NEET PG 2021 annually. This examination is conducted to give admissions in the post-graduate course of medicine in the institutions of India.
To get admission into the postgraduate course of medicine NEET PG 2021 is the only examination. Apart from NEET MDS (which is another exam conducted by NBE, but for dental colleges). This exam is a national level examination which means it is held at All India Level.
The date of the NEET PG 2021 exam date has been announced by the National Board of Examinations(NBE). The examination which is known as the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post graduate will be held on 18 April 2021.
The examination will be held at various test centers in online mode. This will be a CBT exam. Those who want to give NEET PG 2021 will have to do their internships on or before June 30, 2021.
Candidates will have to fulfill the eligibility criterion before appearing for NEET PG 2021. During the exam date announcement, the National Board of Examinations stated clearly that the exam dates may change if needed according to the situation. This year many examinations were postponed due to the ongoing health crisis Covid-19. NEET PG 2021 Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant who is going to appear for NEET PG 2021 must have a recognized provisional or a permanent MBBS degree certificate which must be issued by an institute by the Medical Council of India
- The applicant must also have a provisional or permanent registration certificate that has been issued by the Medical Council of Indian or State Medical Council.
- As mentioned above, those who want to appear for NEET PG 2021 will have to do their internships on or before June 30, 2021.
There are 10,821 Master of Surgery (MS), 19, 953 Doctor of Medicine, and 1,979 PG diploma seats which are available in 6,102 institutions offering the post-graduation course.
What is NEET PG 2021 Exam Pattern?
NEET PG 2021 exam will be a computer-based test. Applicants will be given 3 hours and 30 minutes to complete the entrance test. The type of questions asked will be Multiple choice questions. The number of questions in NEET PG will be 300 with four options for each question.
If we talk about the marking scheme then +4 marks will be given for every correct answer and -1 will be given for every incorrect answer. 0 marks will be there for those questions which will be left unanswered. The NEET PG exam will be based on the MBBS curriculum including pre-clinical, clinical, and para-clinical subjects. The NEET PG examination will be held in the English language.
