NEET Counselling is conducted by MCC to offer admission under MBBS, BDS and AYUSH courses. Candidates must note that counselling is conducted online for which they need to register online. MCC is only responsible for counselling of 15% AIQ seats. Including mop up round NEET 15% AIQ counselling is conducted in 3 rounds.
The vacant seats due to non-joining, non-reporting of Round 2 will be published in the seat matrix and eligible candidates have to submit fresh choices and the result will be processed as per Choice & Merit.
During NEET counselling , if you belong to unreserved category , then your overall rank will be considered under All india quota. But if you belong to reserved category , your category rank will be considered for admission while counselling.
The NEET cut-off is the minimum number of qualifying marks required to qualify for the NEET entrance examination. The cut-off for general category candidates in NEET UG 2021 is the 50th percentile.

In general, first to qualify in NEET, a General Category candidate has to score 50% of the top NEET score. It is 40% for SC, ST, OBC. For example, if the top NEET scorer has scored 500, General Category candidates should score atleast 250 and SC,ST,OBC should score around 200 to qualify.
Though it is not possible to get admission in MBBS without NEET in India. NEET UG exam is mandatory for admission in MBBS in India or abroad. … If you are not able to pass the NEET-UG exam, You can join allied health science courses. Allied health sciences are the best alternative medical course for biology students.
