Meghalaya MBBS Admission 2020 North East Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS), Shillong is the authority which will be conducting the Counselling and Admission process of Meghalaya.
The counselling for Meghalaya MBBS admission will be conducted by NEIGRIHMS. Admission of students to Meghalaya MBBS 2020 will be conducted as per the merit list released by the authorities. The mode of counselling for Meghalaya MBBS admission 2020 will be offline. Meghalaya MBBS counselling will have only one round. Candidates will be required to physically report at the NEIGRIHMS campus on the scheduled date. The candidates need to bring their original certificates/documents along with the self-attested copies and passport size photographs to the Meghalaya MBBS counselling center to get them verified.
Counseling Committee reserves the right to withdraw the name of the candidate from merit list of state, if any, placed inadvertently who is not eligible to be placed in the state merit list due to any reason.

Registration : All the merit listed candidates who wish to participate in counseling procedure for admission must register in due time.

Document Verification : The candidate has to attend the document verification session and get his/her application authenticated. The candidate has to submit the counseling/application fees and taking the print out of the transaction. The candidate has to submit self attested copies of documents along with Originals.
Choice Locking : The candidate has to submit his/her choice of course and college in order of preference as per schedule.
Seat Allotment : College and course will be allotted on merit basis. The candidate has to deposit the original College Leaving Certificate / School Leaving Certificate as the case may be and will be issued a provisional admission letter.
Reporting to the Alloted College : The candidate must report before the authority of the institution allotted with in stipulated date as notified and submit a copy of the provisional admission letter for completion of admission process at institutional level.
Candidates must carry the allotment letter along with other required documents while reporting to the alloted college.

Important Guidelines to fill Application Form :
i. Candidate should follow the Instructions carefully and to fill in the online Application Form taking utmost care.
ii. The Institute will not be responsible for faulty communication due to incorrect address given by the applicant in the Application Form.
iii. Incomplete Application Form will be summarily rejected and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
iv. If ineligibility of a candidate is detected at any stage, before or after the admission, his/her candidature will be summarily rejected.

Candidates are required to bring the following valid original documents along with one set of attested copies at the time of admission without which his/her candidature will not be considered:-
- Class 10 Mark sheet and Certificate.
- Class 12 Mark sheet and Certificate.
- Academic Gap Certificate (if applicable).
- Caste/Category Certificate (if applicable).
- NEET Score Card.
- NEET Admit Card
- Aadhar Card.
- Copy of Application Form .
- Passport size Photographs.
- Scanned Signature of the candidate.
- Domicile/Permanent Residential Certificate valid for the year 2019, from the competent authority (i.e. District Commissioner of the state or any Government authorized Official) certifying that he/she is Domicile /Permanent resident of either of the eight North eastern states of India including Sikkim.
