JKCET 2021: It is an examination which is conducted by Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination in the month of April. This examination offers admission to intermediate pass candidates for getting admission into B.Tech and B.E courses. JKCET 2021 Details
Around 82% of the students who filled up the application forms last year gave the examination in the previous year. There was a provision of filling up 900 seats through JKBOPEE. Here are all the details given about JKCET 2021 below.
 Application Form Details
The release of official information brochure date is 2nd week of March 2021. The release of application forms is expected in 2nd week of March 2021 and the last date of filling up the application forms is last week of March 2021. The admit card for the examination will be released in the 3rd week of April and the examination will be held in the last week of April 2021.
The result of the examination will be declared in the 3rd week of May 2021. The details of the counseling will be given after the declaration of the results and the completion of admission process will take place by the 3rd week of August 2021. JKCET 2021 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria is the criteria which decides who is capable to sit in the examination. Only those students who fulfill the eligibility criteria will be able to sit in the examination. Candidates who are willing to take admission into B.E. and B.Tech courses in Jammu and Kashmir have to fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria given below.
Eligibility To Apply
- Applicants must be the permanent resident of J& K state.
- Minimum Intermediate or equivalent exam from a recognized board is required with the minimum percentile of 50% (for general) and 40% (for reserved candidates).
- Candidates have to qualify 12th standard with PCM & English as the main subjects.
- Students appearing in the final year will be eligible to apply for JKCET 2021.
- The age limit should be 17yrs on or before 31st December 2021.
- There is no maximum age bar limit to apply.

JKCET 2021 Syllabus
The syllabus of the examination is released by the Board of Professional Entrance Examination at the official website before the examination is held. The student must be aware about the examination so that the preparation is strong enough to qualify the examination. The question paper of the examination is based on the syllabus issued by the Board of Professional Entrance Examination. JKCET 2021 exam pattern is given below.

JKCET 2021 Exam Pattern
- The examination will be conducted through offline mode.
- The entrance test shall be held at the centers located in the cities of Srinagar and Jammu only.
- 60 Multiple choice questions from each subject will be asked in the exam.
- The exam will be of 3 hours.
- 1 mark for each correct answer will be awarded and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
The examination will be based on three subjects Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry. 60 questions will be asked from each subject.
 Application Fee
The application fee for all the candidates will be Rs. 1200 and mode of payment for filling up the application form will be online. You can pay the application fee from credit card/ debit card and net banking after checking JKCET 2021 eligibility criteria.

JKCET Counseling 2021
After the result of the entrance examination is released the counseling process will be held. The counseling will be done to allocate the seats and give admission to the students. The date of the counseling is yet to be released at the official website. Students are advised to take the following documents with them when they will sit in the counseling process. Candidates will be charged a fee of Rs. 500 as the counseling fee. They will have to select the college and course as per their preference.
