The Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur has presented a new option for the students going to take admission there. A new program will be offered by IIT Jodhpur in artificial Intelligence and data science from 2020-21.
The curriculum of the B.Tech course includes various subjects such as mathematics, computer science, data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and also their practical use in different areas. According to the institute, this course is going to provide the students with the opportunity to explore particular areas like visual computing, socio digital realities, language technologies, robotics, and artificial intelligence of things.

According to the director of IIT Jodhpur, Santanu Chaudhary, with this program, IIT Jodhpur is attempting to help students explore AI and Data Science transdisciplinary research agenda which will give them new opportunities across all the domains of IIT Jodhpur and the collaborative organizations.

The Institute already has MTech in AI, MTech in Data and Computational Science, and Mtech and Ph.D. dual degree programs in AI. According to the Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, the new program going to start in the Institute will make IIT Jodhpur a unique institute in India having educational programs at all three levels, UG, Master’s, and doctoral in the area of AI and Data Science.
