ICAR AIEEA 2021 : Every year the ICAR conducts an all India level nationalized examination that provide admission to agriculture as well as allied science courses.The Indian Council of Agricultural Research is an autonomous body responsible for co-coordinating agricultural education and research in India. It reports to the Department of Agricultural Research and Education, Ministry of Agriculture. The Union Minister of Agriculture serves as its president.

ICAR AIEEA : There are a number of Agricultural universities across India dedicated fully to serve as the guiding bodies to offer quality education in studies related to Agriculture.
In a country like India where the agricultural sector plays a major role in nationwide GDP,the agricultural studies stands a brilliant opportunity for the students in present as well as future.Students can achieve the B.Sc/B.Sc(Hons.) of Agriculture degree or the same Bachelors degree in other allied courses as well like home science,nutrition and dietetics,biotechnology,horticulture,forestry etc.An agriculture graduate can further persue his Masters from desirable subjects by writing the entrance for the Post graduate studies by ICAR.

Eligibility criteria :
- A candidate have to score an aggregate score of 50%(for general) and 40%(for SC/ST/OBC) in 12th board examination in PCB (physics,chemistry and biology) and english.
- He/she must have done schooling from a recognized school at state or central level.
- He/she must be of 16 years age (minimum) as on 31st August 2021.

Application procedure :
- The application form for both ICAR AIEEA 2021 UG & PG will be published online during the month of March – 1st week,2021.
- The National Testing Agency is the exam conducting authority.
- Students have to fill up their application form in due time.
- Few documents like passport size photograph,thumb print,signature will have to be uploaded in the application form in proper format and size.
- Also preference wise test centers will also have to be filled up by the students.
- Once a candidate fills in the essential credentials, he/she will have to pay the application fees online.
- Successful payment will complete the application process finally.

ICAR UG exam pattern :
- The total NUMBER Of questions will be 180.
- Four marks will be awarded for each correct answer.
- One mark will be deducted as negative marks for each wrong answer.
- The question type will be as multiple choice questions with four option for each item.
- Breakage of marks subject-wise:

Biology/Agriculture | 90 questions | 360 marks |
- The total marks will be 720.
- The medium of paper will be in English and hindi.
- Time duration is 2 hours 30 minutes.
PG exam pattern:
- The total marks is 650.
- A majority of the questions will be asked accordingly from the major subject chosen by the candidate during form filling.
- A section of questions will be based on general agriculture related topics as well.
- Total number of questions is 160.
- Time duration is 2 hours.
- One mark will be deducted as negative marks for each wrong answer.
- The question type will be as multiple choice questions with four option for each item.
