National Recruitment Agency for Government Jobs 2020: The government has approved the proposal to set up National Recruitment Agency or NRA on 19 August 2020. The NRA was introduced in the Union Budget 2020 announcement which shall work as one agency for all government exams in India.
The Union Cabinet has finally given a go ahead for National Recruitment Agency to conduct a Common Eligibility Test (CET) for job seekers in the nation.
The NRA will be a multi-agency body which will encompass the first-level test by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) and the Institute of Banking Service Personnel (IBPS).
A common eligibility test will be held to screen candidates at the first level for SSC, RRBs and IBPS.
