The registration period for CAT 2021 began on August 4 and will end on September 15. Candidates interested in taking the CAT 2021 exam can apply on the official website. What is CAT?
The Common Admission Test (CAT-2021) is a famous MBA entrance exam held at a national level for students seeking admission to IIMs and other prominent management institutes like as MDI, IMI, SPJIMR, FMS, GIM, IMT, and others that provide MBA/PGDM and other management programmes.

Eligibility
Applicants applying for the CAT must have a minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent CGPA (45 percent for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disability (PwD) categories). This has caused some confusion in the CAT2021 application procedure.
Candidates in their final year: Candidates who have received “promotion/pass” certificates rather than “award of marks” certificates in any of the last two years of their bachelor’s degree can select the “Promotion or Pass” option on the application form.
Despite the minimum eligibility conditions, the candidate will be able to complete and submit the CAT2021 application form (45 percent and 50 percent [or equivalent CGPA] respectively).
This relaxation of eligibility also applies to final-year students who have been “awarded” marks. Only candidates who are finishing their bachelor’s degree this year or are in their last year of a bachelor’s programme (graduation years 2021 and 2022) are eligible for this exception.
