IIFT 2021: Exam Details, Eligibility, Admission Process

IIFT 2021: Conducted for taking admission into MBA International Business courses in Indian Institute of Foreign Trade , IIFT is a management aptitude test. It is conducted by National Testing Agency NTA in December. 50,000 candidates across the country sit in this examination approximately.

IIFT 2021 Exam Details

The conducting body of this exam is National Testing Agency. It is a National level exam conducted once in a year through online mode. The duration of examination is 2 hours. The exam consists of various sections such as verbal ability and reading comprehension, General knowledge, Logical reasoning and data interpretation and Quantitative Analysis.

There will be 110 questions in MCQ format and the language of exam will be English. The exam fee for general category is Rs, 2000. The purpose of the examination is to take admission in IIFT Delhi, IIFT Kolkata, IIFT Kakinada. The course offered is MBA-International Business and the number of test cities are 41. IIFT 2021 Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree of at least three years duration in any discipline or equivalent from a recognised university.

Candidates belonging to General category must have secured at least 50 per cent aggregate in Graduation (45 per cent for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD categories)

Candidates in their final year of Graduation are also eligible to apply. However, such candidates are required to submit the proof of requisite qualification by October. This concludes eligibility for IIFT 2021.

IIFT Important Dates

The registration began in the fourth week of September 2022 and the end date is first week of November 2020. The form correction will be done from first week of November 2020. The admit cards will be downloaded from second week of November 2020 and the the end date of downloading it will in the first week of December 2020.The examination will be conducted in the first week of December 2020.

The process of release of answer key will be done in the same week and the challenging of answer key will begin in first week of December 2020. Last date to challenge the answer key will be first week of December 2020. The announcement of result will be done in second week of December 2020.

IIFT 2021 Exam pattern

The exam pattern will be same as of 2020. It will consist of 110 questions from moderate to high difficulty level. 35 questions from VARC where marks alloted to each question will be 3, 20 from GK, 30 From LRDI and 25 from QA. The marks alloted to each question in each section will be 3, 1.5, 3 and 3.

IIFT 2021 Admission Process

The candidates who qualify the written test are called for Essay writing, Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

The candidates are given the topics of general or business affairs for essay writing. For writing the essay of 300 words 20 minutes are given.

In the group discussion group of 10-12 students are made and a topic is given. The initiative, communication efficiency and idea presentation of the candidates is evaluated through this process.

Last round is the personal interview round in which the panelists ask various questions from the candidates to check their confidence and subject knowledge and the IQ level. The final result is told to the candidates through an email.

IIFT 2021 Application Form Fee

The Application Fee for General candidates in Rs. 2000, for SC/ST /PWD it is Rs. 1000 and for Foreign National/NRI/Children of NRI candidates it is $150.

IIFT Test Cities

The examination will take place in around 220 cities in India. The candidates will be given the option of selecting upto four cities for allotment of test centers during the IIFT application process.

What is IIFT MBA Admission Test?

IIFT full form is Indian Institute of Foreign Trade Admission Test. It is the mandatory MBA entrance test for admission to all the three campuses of IIFT. The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade is ranked among top 35 management institutes in MHRD-NIRF Ranking 2019. IIFT MBA (IB) 2021 entrance exam will be held in a single session as a computer based test. The exam will be of 2 hours duration with a maximum marks of 300 and will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for the second time and not by IIFT as was conducted earlier.

Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) MBA Admission Test is conducted annually for admission to its flagship MBA (IB) program offered at its three campuses located at Delhi, Kolkata and Kakinada (AP).
