Educational Qualifications
- For the General Service Post, the candidate must have a BE/B.Tech in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks.
- For the position of Air Traffic Controller, the candidate must have completed a BE/B.Tech in any discipline from an AICTE-accredited institute / university with a minimum of 60% marks. (Candidate must have a minimum of 60% in English in class X or class XII and a minimum of 60% in aggregate in class X and XII.)
- For Logistics, a candidate must have a first-class BE/B.Tech in any field, a first-class MBA, or a first-class B.Sc/B.Com/B.Sc(IT) with a first-class PG Diploma in Finance/Logistics/Supply Chain Management/Material Management, or a first-class MCA/M.Sc (IT).
Selection process
Shortlisting of entries will be based on the candidates’ chosen entries and normalised marks in their qualifying degree. Shortlisted candidates will be notified of their SSB interview selection by email or SMS.
Criteria wise for Indian Navy SSC Officer Recruitment
BE/B.Tech: Candidates who have completed or are in their last year of BE/B.Tech will be eligible for SSB shortlisting based on their grades up to the fifth semester.
Non-Engineering Degree Program: Candidates who have finished MCA, MBA, MA, M.Sc, B.Sc, and B.Com will have their grades from all semesters taken into account. Candidates in their final year will be shortlisted based on their pre-final year performance.
Candidates who make it to the final merit list will be asked to produce documentation of completing the qualifying degree with a minimum of 60% marks through email to officer@navy.gov.in.
