NEET 2020 is the national level entrance examination conducted by NTA for admission into medical and dental colleges. Around 355 medical colleges and 125 dental colleges accept NEET scores for admission. NEET replaced AIPMT as the entrance test for MBBS and BDS admissions in 2016.
The exam will be held in approximately 150 cities in First Week of May, 2020 in offline mode.
- NEET Registration process is expected to be started from First week of November, 2019. Apply Now!
- NEET Merit List will now be used to allot seats in veterinary colleges for undergraduate courses like BVSc. and Animal Husbandry under 15% All India Quota.
- NEET Result will be applicable for admissions to all medical colleges of India except for AIIMS and JIPMER, which conduct their own medical entrance exams.
- Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will now participate in 15% All India Quota Counselling and don’t need to submit a self declaration form anymore.
- For admission into UG courses in AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy), students must appear for NEET.
