The commission will re-issue the announcement for a total of 1370 Principal, Workshop Superintendent, Librarian, and Lecturer positions, according to the official notice. The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) had changed the recruiting regulations for these positions, according to the commission’s secretary, Jagdish.
The commission is anticipated to issue the notification in a week, according to media reports. According to the news, the recruitment process has been cancelled due to the All India Council for Technical Education amending the guidelines for the aforesaid positions (AICTE).
The advertisement number 02/2017-18 advertised a total of 1248 vacant professor positions in various subjects. Mechanical Engineering had 261 positions, Electrical Engineering had 230, Civil Engineering had 133, Electronics Engineering had 120, and Computer and other topics had 132. During this time, the commission has received 109 request for three different types of vacancies. As a result, a new advertisement will be published in a week for a total of 1370 Principal, Workshop Superintendent, Librarian, and Lecturer positions (28 types).
