SSB Recruitment 2021: Are you looking for GDMO/Specialist Doctors positions? Then here is a great chance for you. Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) officials are willing to hire General Duty Medical Officers (GDMOs) and Specialists for numerous places and units around the country. Educational Qualifications
- The Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, includes a recognised medical qualification in the first or second schedules, or Part II of the third schedule (other than licentiate credentials). Holders of educational qualifications listed in Part II of the Third Schedule must additionally meet the requirements of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, sub-section (3).
- Post-graduate degree/diploma in the relevant specialty as listed in Section-A or Section-B of Schedule-VI, or an equivalent qualification.
- After acquiring the Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma or equivalency, 1 and 1/2 years experience for Post Graduate degree holders and 2 and 1/2 years experience for Diploma holders in the particular specialty.
Age for SSB Recruitment
All General Duty Medical Officers/Specialists so appointed will be terminated when they reach the age of 70.
Medical exam
Candidates shall be medically evaluated by a Board of Medical Officers appointed by the respective Composite Hospital immediately following the interview. Physical fitness will be required for the appointment.
