SSC Steno Exam Date 2020-2021: On ssc.nic.in, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the online exam dates for Stenographer Grade “C” (Group B- Non-Gazetted) and Stenographer Grade “D” (Group C- Non-Gazetted). The SSC Stenographer Exam will be held from November 11 to November 15, 2021, according to the SSC Notice. Previously, the exam was set to take place from March 29 to March 31, 2021.
It was, however, postponed due to Assembly elections in various states/UTs. On October 10, 2020, the SSC Stenographer 2020-21 notification was released. The application deadline for the SSC Stenographer position was November 4, 2020.

Application Form
The application form for SSC Stenographer is available on the official website. It is recommended that interested candidates complete the application form by the deadline. For both General and OBC candidates, the application cost is Rs 100. Candidates from the SC, ST, women, and ESM groups are excused from paying fees.
SSC Steno Admit Card
The admit card for the SSC Stenographer test is released two weeks prior to the exam. The admission card can be downloaded from the commission’s sub-regional websites by registered candidates. Candidates must input the appropriate credentials in order to download the admission card. Candidates will not receive a hard copy of their admission card in the mail.
Exam Pattern for SSC Steno
General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, and English Language and Comprehension are the three portions of the SSC Stenographer computer-based test. There are 200 objective-type questions on the test paper. The test has a total of 200 points. The test will take two hours to complete. To determine the merit list and cutoff marks, candidates’ grades are normalised. Candidates are selected for the Skill Test based on their performance on the computer-based assessments. The Skill Test is a requirement, but it is also a qualification. Final selection and assignment of Ministries/Departments is based on candidates’ performance in the computer-based test and their preference for postings expressed during Document Verification.

For each step of recruiting, the result is announced separately on the official website. The result of the SSC Stenographer exam is available in PDF format. A few days after the results are announced, the scores of qualified and non-qualified candidates are made public. By checking in with the proper credentials, candidates can get their scorecard.
