The application deadline has been extended by two days, according to the commission’s most recent statement. The application period, which was set to close on August 26, has been extended until August 28.
The Commission has also ruled that instead of 35 percent, the minimum qualifying grades for Gomitra applicants will be 20 percent. The advertisement’s other terms and conditions remain unchanged.

Educational Qualification
- The candidate must have completed Vocational Courses in Animal Husbandry, Dairy, Poultry, Meat, Animal Production, or +2 Science from a recognized Educational Institution, Board, Council, or University in the subject of Animal Husbandry, Dairy, Poultry, Meat, Animal Production, or +2 Science.
- A applicant must be able to communicate in Odia by speaking, reading, and writing.

Pay scale
The appointment of livestock inspectors in the various districts would be on a contractual basis. The shortlisted students would be paid Rs 7,200 per month while getting training for two years. They would be paid a cumulative monthly remuneration of Rs 9,000 once the course is completed.
