RRB NTPC 2020 : The RRB NTPC Exam organized by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is a recruitment test to select candidates suitable to work in non-technical popular categories (NTPC) posts under the Indian Railways. It is one of the most famous and sought after exams for applicants and job-seekers across India looking for opportunities to work for Indian Railways. Every year lakhs of applicants from across the country sit for this exam.
This exam in 2020 will be held to recruit for 35,208 vacancies for Non-Technical Popular Categories posts under the prestigious Government Sector of Indian Railways. The vacancies available are the likes of Junior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Traffic Assistant (TA), Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist (JAA), Senior Time Keeper, Commercial Apprentice (CA) and Assistant Station Master (ASM), Enquiry cum Reservation Clerk (ECRC) in various Zonal Railways and Production Units of Indian Railways.
Recruitment is especially for the candidates having Graduate Degree from any recognised university. The Railway Recruitment board offers an excellent pay scale and allowances which lures lakhs of applicants from different zones of India.
Railway Recruitment Board has released the official date of RRB NTPC on September 5, 2020. RRB will conduct all railway exams like RRB NTPC, RRC Group D, and RRB Ministerial and Isolated Categories from 15th of December, 2020. A detailed examination schedule for RRB NTPC 2020 is supposed to be released very soon.

▪RRB NTPC Exam Date for 2020 CBT 1 Exam:
The detailed exam schedule for RRB NTPC 2020 Stage I Exam has not been released by RRB yet. According to the officials, the Railway board is likely to conduct the NTPC Recruitment exam in the month of December after 15. All candidates who have registered themselves for this exam are eagerly waiting for the exam dates of RRB NTPC.

The NTPC Exam 2019-2020 Stage 1 exam was tentatively scheduled to be held last year. However, it has been postponed. The revised schedule will be published shortly in the official websites of all RRBs.
▪RRB NTPC 2020 Exam Pattern:
The recruitment process shall involve 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT), 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT), Typing Skill Test/Computer Based Aptitude Test (as applicable) and Document Verification/Medical Examination. Selection is made strictly as per merit, on the basis of above mentioned recruitment stages.
The recruitment process will involve the following stages of examination:
1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT)
2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT)
Typing Skill Test/Computer Based Aptitude Test (as applicable)
Document Verification/Medical Examination
Based on the performance of candidates in the Stage-1 and Stage-2 exam, they would be required to go for the Skill Test/Aptitude Test/Document Verification.

Eligibility:
Minimum percentage of marks for eligibility in various categories: UR-40%, EWS40%, OBC (Non creamy layer) -30%, SC-30%, ST-25%. These percentages of marks for eligibility may be relaxed by 2% for PWD candidates in case of shortage of PWD candidates against vacancies reserved for them.
Exam Pattern and Syllabus for RRB NTPC 2020
Coming to planning strategies for the exam, there are several points that need to be kept in mind.
The RRB NTPC exam is held in two divisions-
- The First Stage CBT (Prelims)
And
- The Second Stage CBT (Mains)
RRB NTPC Prelims Pattern
The 1st Stage CBT comprises of four sections- Arithmetic ability, Reasoning and General Intelligence, General Awareness and General Science.
▪A total 0f 100 questions will be asked in the exam of 1 mark each.
▪Candidates will have a composite time of 90 minutes to solve all the sections.
▪There will be negative marking of 0.25 for every wrong answer.

▪Candidates will have a composite time of 90 minutes to solve all the sections.
▪There will be negative marking of 0.25 for every wrong answer.
